This autumn has been an exceptionally colourful one. With vivid red, orange and yellow leaves everywhere; the trees seemed to be celebrating the end of our monsoon-like summer. Then, one morning, just as we were getting used to kicking through the leaves of autumn, I pushed the curtains aside to find someone had painted the mountain tops white!
